The Union of European football associations UEFA governs association football in Europe and organizes the club competitions. Generally, 4 club competitions are organized by UEFA: UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa conference League. A total of 220 clubs are represented by the UEFA in these 4 UEFA tournaments. This article is dedicated to the clubs that have won European trophies in football in the last decade. The winning clubs throughout the last decade are considered to be the best of recent times. Let's have a look at the number of times these winning won the European trophies in the last decade.
Real Madrid: 7 European Trophies
Real Madrid is perhaps the greatest football club in European Football's history. With rich history and great players, the club is also said to be the one of the richest in Europe as well. Unlike the first decade of the 2000s, Real surpassed everyone in the trophy cabinet in European football. They won 7 European trophies in the last 10 years. Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the main reasons of that success.
The Portuguese striker not only scored for them but, his contributions in knockouts, helped the team win major trophies. Along with him, the team was blessed to have Sergio Ramos, and Karim Benzema as well.
In the last decade, Real Madrid won four UEFA Champions Leagues (2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18), and three European Super Cups (2014, 2016, 2017).
Chelsea: 5 European Trophies
Chelsea has been a new powerhouse in European football. Perhaps, they have been the best team from England in European competitions. The changes started to happen for the blues, when Roman Abramovich took the ownership of the club in 2003. With lots of money invested in "right place", Chelsea started to blossom under the some legends like John Terry and Frank Lampard. Not to forget the Didier Drogba effect in team's success.
The current Champions League winners won their two UCL trophies in this decade only. In fact, they won it in 2012 and 2021. Everyone still remembers the Drogba header in the 90th minutes of the 2012 final.
Chelsea's other three European trophies came as two UEFA Europa Leagues (2013, 2019) and one UEFA Super Cup in 2021.

Bayern Munich: 4 European Trophies
When you say European football in any football stat in recent years, you just can not ignore Bayern Munich. The German giants is the most successful team in their national football history. In the last decade and so, Bayern boosted their success with few national heroes like Thomas Muller, and Manuel Neuer. Also they did brought some experienced campaigners like Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandoski to grab all those trophies.
Bayern won four European trophies in last ten years. Interestingly, Bayern Munich managed to win both the Champions League and UEFA Super cup in the same year, twice. In 2013 and 2020 they won both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup titles.
Sevilla: 4 European Trophies
Now, this might be a surprise for you. In fact, no one would consider Sevilla to be on this list with some European giants of football. Perhaps, Sevilla has been doing their job silently in the shadows of La Liga powerhouses called Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Sevilla registered their European success with UEFA Europa League. They won four Europa League Titles in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2020. Though, this tournament is not as reputed as Champions League, but all of the trophies surely makes all the Sevilla fans proud.
Atlético Madrid: 4 European Trophies
Atletico Madrid and the Diego Simeone love story created some great history for the club. The Simeone era saw the club make some huge progress. In fact, along with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich they were considered as one of the best team in the Europe in the last decade. Club legends like Fernando Torres and Antoine Griezmann were crucial for the team's success.
Atletico Madrid won two UEFA Europa Leagues in last decade (2012, 2018). Meanwhile, they won two UEFA Super Cup titles in the last decade (2013, 2019).

Barcelona: 3 European Trophies
The last ten years was not that great for the Spanish football giants in the European sector. However, they kept on winning the La Liga, but that form did not transferred in the European competitions. Even with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, they failed to win major European trophies in maximum occasions.
FC Barcelona won one Champions league in the last ten years. They managed to win it in the 2014-15 season. Meanwhile, other two trophies are two European Super Cups won in 2012 and 2016.

Liverpool: 2 European Trophies
Liverpool is considered as one of the oldest and biggest club in English football. Their history of football is even older than that of Real Madrid. However, the success that the club tasted in the earlier years, did not multiply in the recent years. Though, it was under Jürgen Klopp when the team found their one and only major success in the last decade.
The RED's won their sixth and latest Champions League in 2019 under Klopp. Then they went on to win the season opening UEFA Super Cup in 2019 also.

Villarreal: 1 European Trophy
Along with Sevilla, Villarreal also considered one of the dark horses in the Spanish football. Though, they does not have many trophies to show in the last decade, they have always been fighting for one. Villarreal, who were one of the best teams in La Liga in early 2000s, only managed to win one major trophy in the next decade.
In 2021, they defeated Manchester United in UEFA Europa League final to win their one and only major trophy. The penalty shootout was quite never wrecking as the final result was 12-11 for Villarreal. However, they lost against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup final in another penalty shootout. This time the results were 5-6 for the Chelsea team.
Manchester United: 1 European Trophy
After the retirement of club legend Sir Alex Ferguson, the Red Devils found it hard to taste success. The team from the Manchester could not serve justice to the glorified history. Perhaps, Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid played a major role in it as well.
Manchester United won only one European trophy in the last decade. The success came when Jose Mourinho's team won the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club's history. They defeated Ajax 2-0 with a stunner from Paul Pogba in Sweden. However, they lost to Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League in the 2021 season.
