Fulham were the better side in the second half and they got their reward just before the hour mark. Arsenal failed to clear a corner and the ball fell De Cordova-Reid and he smashed it home from close range.

David Raya then came up with a brilliant save to deny Cairney and the crossbar from Andreas Pereira's free-kick prevented Arsenal from conceding further.

Nketiah was entirely anonymous, with the visitors hitting the target just three times all game. Arsenal must need to go for a striker in the Winter Transfer Window if they want to challenge for the title.
