The highly-anticipated Indian Super Cup 2023 makes its return following a four-year gap on April 8, in Kerala. The group stage will take place from April 8 to 19, while the semi-finals will be held on April 21 and 22. The final is slated to take place on April 25.

Meanwhile, all 11 Indian Super League teams will be participating in the Indian Super Club 2023 along with RoundGlass Punjab FC - champions of I League 2022-23. While teams placed second to 10th in the I-League will compete in the Qualifying Rounds for the four remaining spots available in the Super Cup group stage.
The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each. These teams will compete in a single round-robin format in the group stage. The toppers from each group will get a direct entry into the semi-finals. They will contest in a one-off tie for a spot in the final of the tournament. The eventual winners of the tournament will then face 2021-22 I-League winners Gokulam Kerala with the winners guaranteed a spot in the 2023-24 AFC Cup group stage.
Moreover, the Indian Super Cup 2023 will be held at the MS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode and the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri, Kerala. FC Goa is the defending champions and will be eyeing a successful title defence.
