The Indian Super League (ISL) has been the stand-out football league in India since its introduction. Many great players have played in the ISL and left their marks. Nerijus Valskis is a Lithuanian footballer who plays as a Forward for the Indian Super League club Jamshedpur FC and the Lithuania national team. He features at no. 8 in the list of the players with the most goals in ISL history. He also played for Chennaiyin FC before joining Jamshedpur FC. Valskis has scored 23 goals in the ISL so far with a ratio of 0.61.

7. Jeje Lalpekhlua (24 goals)

Jeje Lalpekhlua is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a central forward for the India national football team and SC East Bengal in the Indian Super League. Moreover, he is also the second-highest Indian goalscorer in the ISL. In 2015, he won the I-league with Mohun Bagan and the Indian Super League with ChennaiyinFC. He was subsequently named the FPAI Football Player of the Year. Jeje has 24 goals to his name in 77 matches with a ratio of 0.32 in the ISL.

6. Iain Hume (28 goals)

In 2014, Hume joined Kerala Blasters FC of the newly formed Indian Super League and played the next two seasons with Atlรฉtico de Kolkata. He won the 2016 ISL season before returning to Kerala Blasters in the 2017โ€“18 Indian Super League season. He then played for FC Pune City next season in ISL. Hume scored 28 goals in 69 appearances with a ratio of 0.41. However, 7 of his goals out of the 28 came in penalty

5. Roy Krishna (29 goals)

Roy Krishna is a Fijian professional footballer who plays as a striker and captain for both ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League and the Fiji national team. He has scored 29 goals in just 44 matches in the ISL. Krishna has an incredible goalscoring ratio of 0.66. However, 7 of the 29 goals came when he converted it from the spot.

4. Marcelinho (33 goals)

Marcelo Leite Pereiraย better known asย Marcelinhoย is aย Brazilianย footballer who plays forย Esporte Clube Taubatรฉย in theย Campeonato Paulista Sรฉrie A2. He started his professional career with the Spanish club Atlรฉtico Madrid B. However, Marcelinho has played for Brazilian, Spanish, Greek, Emirati and Indian clubs. Meanwhile, his best season was in the 2016 Indian Super League season when he finished as the leagueโ€™s top scorer and won the Golden Boot with Delhi Dynamos FC. Then he went on to play for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Moreover, he is the fourth-highest scorer in the ISL with 33 goals.

3. Bartholomew Ogbeche (35 goals)

Bartholomew Owogbalor Ogbeche is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Indian Super League club Hyderabad FC. He is the all-time top goalscorer for Kerala Blasters. Ogbeche has scored 35 goals in 57 matches with a ratio of 0.61. However, 8 of his 35 goals came from the spot.

2. Sunil Chhetri (47 goals)

Making his way to the number 2 in this list is the Indian football star Sunil Chhetri. He has an immense contribution to every team he plays in. Be it for the Indian National Team or Bengaluru FC. The attacking forward has managed to score 47 goals in 94 appearances and the number will surely go up in the coming seasons. Subsequently, he is the highest-scoring Indian in the ISL. Chettri can be absolutely trusted from the spot as 12 of his 47 ISL goals has come from the penalty spot.

1. Ferrรกn Corominas (48 goals)

Ferrรกn Corominas Telechea, commonly known as Coro, is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as a forward for CD Atlรฉtico Baleares. Although he doesnโ€™t play in the ISL anymore, he holds the record for the most number of goals in the ISL. Coro is an absolute beast when it comes to goal scoring. In 2017 he signed with Goa in the Indian Super League, winning several team and individual accolades. He has scored 48 goals in just 57 matches for FC Goa and has a stunning goal scoring ratio of 0.84.
