In the latest ISL Transfer News, Emami East Bengal have announced their 13-player list who have signed for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

Here are the players on the list:

  1. Pawan Kumar: 31-year-old goalkeeper signed on a free transfer after a spell with Jamshedpur
    FC last season. The Punjabi custodian is a two-time ISL winner with Chennaiyin FC and won
    the League winners Shield with Jamshedpur FC last season.
  2. Mohammad Rakip: The 22-year-old right back signed on a free transfer after a two-year stint
    with Mumbai City FC and was a member of India's 2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup squad. The
    Manipuri defender has made 39 appearances in the ISL, winning the ISL double with Mumbai
    City in 20-21.
  3. Ankit Mukherjee: The 26-year-old right back has been renewed after appearing for SC East
    Bengal in 21-22. The Kolkata defender has made 28 appearances in the ISL, winning the ISL
    title in 19-20.
  4. Sarthak Golui: The 24-year-old centre back signed on a free transfer after a spell with
    Bengaluru FC. The defender has represented India 4 times at senior international level and
    made 52 appearances in the ISL.
  5. Jerry Lalrinzuala: The 24-year-old left back signed on a free transfer after a six year spell with
    Chennaiyin FC. The Mizoram defender has made 94 appearances in the ISL, winning the title
    in 2017-18 and also winning the ISL Emerging Player Award in 2016.
  6. Pritam Singh: The 26-year-old left back signed on a free transfer after winning the ISL with
    Hyderabad in 21-22.
  7. Souvik Chakrabarti: The 30-year-old central midfielder signed on a free transfer after winning
    the ISL with Hyderabad in 21-22. The experienced medio has made 104 appearances in the
    ISL.
  8. Amarjit Singh: The 21-year-old central midfielder signed on loan from FC Goa. The Manipuri
    midfielder captained India at 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup and has made 33 appearances
    in the ISL.
  9. Mobashir Rahman: The 24-year-old central midfielder signed on a free transfer after winning the ISL league winners shield with Jamshedpur in 21-22. The Tata Football Academy graduate has made 53 appearances in the ISL.
  10. Angousana Luwang: The 26-year-old versatile midfielder has been renewed after appearing for SC East Bengal from 2020 to 2022. The Manipuri has made 28 appearances in the ISL.
  11. Aniket Jadhav: The 21-year-old winger has been signed on a permanent transfer from Hyderabad FC for an undisclosed fee. He was a member of the 2017 U-17 India World Cup squad and has made 47 ISL appearances.
  12. Naorem Mahesh Singh: The 23-year-old winger signed on a permanent transfer from Kerala Blasters FC for an undisclosed fee. The Manipuri made 18 appearances for SC East Bengal last season while being on loan from Kerala and scored the match winning brace in the 2-1 win over FC Goa.
  13. VP Suhair: The 30-year-old forward signed on a permanent transfer from North East United for an undisclosed fee. The Kerala man recently made his senior India international debut.

An experienced forward known for his scoring prowess, Messi Bouli returns to the Indian shores after five seasons, having netted 8 goals for Kerala Blasters FC in the 2019-20 edition of the Indian Super League.

Besides his impressive record in the ISL, Messi Bouli has plied his trade across Cameroon (FAP Yaounde, Canon Yaounde and APEJES), the Persian Gulf Pro League (Foolad FC) and China (Yanbian Funde, Heilongjiang Ice City, Liaoning Tieren FC, Nanjing City and Shijiazhuang Gongfu), scoring 69 goals in 173 club matches in the process. 

Messi Bouli registered 14 goals and 5 assists in 28 games for Shijiazhuang Gongfu in the previous season. He last played for the Chinese club in November 2024. The tall forward also represented the Cameroon national team on six occasions, between 2013 and 2018.

All-time leading goalscorer of the A-League, a record five-time Golden Boot winner of the league, and a World Cupper with Australia, Jamie Maclaren joining the ISL shield winners Mohun Bagan Super Giant for four years, was surely the top signing of the season.

The Aussie striker spent six seasons with Melbourne City FC before heading for the Kolkata club. He has been registered outside the salary cap for Mohun Bagan and will be highest paid player in the Indian Super League this season.

2. Dimitrios Diamantakos to East Bengal

East Bengal accuired the services of last season's ISL Golden Boot winner Dimitrios Diamantakos on a two-year deal from Kerala Blasters FC to solve their goal scoring porblem. Cuadrat had his eye on the Greek-striker and East Bengal management were able to sign him on a free transfer this season.

With 28 goals and 7 assists in just 44 games across two seasons in India, Diamantakos can surely be the saviour East Bengal fans are looking for since last few seasons.

3. Lallianzuala Chhangte's extension with Mumbai City FC

Regarded as one of the best wingers and attacking midfielders of current Indian football, 'Mizo Flash' Lalianzuala Chhangte has been one of the main reasons of Mumbai City FC's success in the Indian Super League. Since joining the Islanders in 2022, Chhangte went on to win the ISL Golden Ball in 2022-23 season and then in the next seasons became the first Indian player to record more than 15 goal contributions in consecutive seasons with 10 goals and 6 assits.

Chhangte has been pivotal to Mumbai City winning the ISL Cup in 2023-24 season and thus has been rewarded with a contract extension till 2026-27 season and also has been named as the captain of the side for this season.

4. Jesus Jimenez to Kerala Blasters FC

Jesus Jimenez, the 30-year-old striker from Spain has the experience of the playing in the Spainsh second division, Polish first-division and the MLS. Moreover, he has played in the Europa League as well.

Jimenez started his carrer with Club Deportivo Leganés and then flourised at FC Talavera where he helped the club to be promoted in the Sapnish second-division league. Then he joined Polish first-division club Górnik Zabrze and scored 43 goals along with 26 assists in four seasons before moving to MLS. 

He will join the Manjapadas in a free transfer for two years from Greek club OFI Crete where he spent the last season.

Surely one of the best goalkeepers going around in India, Vishal Kaith has extended his contract with his favourite club Mohun Bagan despite having lucrative offers form other clubs in India. Vishal had been a part of the franchise (it was ATK Mohun Bagan back then) since 2022 and since then has been on the best in business.

Kaith's skill underneath the goalpost has helped Mohun Bagan win the ISL Cup in 2022-23 and then win the ISL Shield in the following season. Kaith has manged 27 clean sheets in 71 games for Mohun Bagan so far in his career and had won five back-to-back penalty shootouts before his record was broken in the Durand Cup 2024 final against NorthEast United.

The ISL 2024-25 season will be the 11th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) and the 29th season of the top-division premier football in India. Mohun Bagan are the defending champions and Mumbai City are the defending cup winners. As the transfer market has opened, teams are signing players to strengthen their squad. It's time we look at all the completed deals and the outgoings of the clubs for the upcoming season.

ISL 2024-25 Transfers: All completed deals till now

Odisha FC

Odisha missed out on the ISL League Winners’ Shield and title last season. Sergio Lobera will try to do better with the side this season. So far, Odisha have done three signings and have released six players. They have extended the contract of Carlos Delgado and Roy Krishna, their star players.

Kerala Blasters qualified for the playoffs last season, but couldn’t make the most of their brilliant start. They have hired Mikael Stahre in the hope of changing their fortunes.

East Bengal

The Red & Gold Brigade won silverware last season after 12 years and will be playing Asia this season. Their ISL campaign was not ideal but better than their first one. They are doing business regularly in the ongoing transfer window and fans are expecting to see their beloved club improve more this time. The Kolkata Giants were defensively very strong but were poor when it came to scoring goals. They have signed last season's Golden Boot winner Diamantakos from Kerala Blasters so Carles Cuadrat's side looks strong in comparison to last season.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant

Mohun Bagan missed out on a domestic treble last season and they will be hungry for more this time. The fans will expect them to do better this time in Asia. Jose Molina is going to lead the team in the upcoming season and the management is doing brilliant in the transfer window to give their manager enough to do well in the season. They did a record-breaking signing recently, bringing in lethal goal scorer Jamie Maclaren from Melbourne City FC.

Petr Kratky's Mumbai City won the ISL title last season. Mumbai have made some big changes in this window. They have signed lots of players and released 12 players already.

NorthEast United

NorthEast United missed out on the playoffs last season. They would like to perform better in comparison to last season but haven't been quite active in the transfer window. The Highlanders have signed only two players, Mayakkannan Muthu and Guillermo Fernandez.

Bengaluru FC

Bengaluru FC were very poor last season. They finished 10th in the 12-team league and there will be plenty of changes in the squad for the Blues. Bengaluru have signed two new players this season but have left numerous players. They are expected to sign more in the ongoing transfer window.

Jeremy Manzorro scored a late winner to complete a comeback against the Islanders and win the Mumbai City FC vs Jamshedpur FC Indian Super League 2023-24 match 3-2, at the Mumbai Football Arena in Mumbai.

Tiri scored early to provide Mumbai with the early lead from Yoell Van Nieff's cross and inside the first 32nd minute of the game, they doubled their lead when Alberto Noguera steered Lallianzuala Chhangte's cross into the net.

Jamshedpur began their comeback in the second half when Imran Khan's shot ended in the bottom-right corner. Jamshedpur found a lifeline and the stage was set for an epic comeback.

Jeremy Manzorro scored the equaliser just before the hour mark, sparking new life among the visitors. The match was heading towards a draw but Daniel Chima Chukwu earned a penalty in the 86th minute, which was converted by Manzorro, securing the three points for the Red Miners.

In the latest Indian Football Transfer News, Mumbai City FC has officially announced the signing of Ishaan Shishodia, a young and talented midfielder. The 18-year-old has joined the Islanders on a three-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him with the team until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Originally from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, Ishaan began his football journey by representing the Delhi Dynamos' u15s side before moving on to the Odisha FC u18s. He also played for India's age group sides and was named the captain of the Indian under-19 team.

Ishaan captained the Indian under-19s during the 2023 SAFF U19 Championship in Nepal and led his team to victory against Pakistan in the final, where he also contributed two assists in three games.

The signing of Ishaan reflects Mumbai City FC's commitment to working with and developing young talent. The midfielder will join the team's camp in Bhubaneswar during the ongoing Kalinga Super Cup and will be wearing the number 71 shirt.

In a statement, Ishaan expressed his excitement about joining Mumbai City FC. He said, "Mumbai City is one of, if not the biggest club in India, and I'm really excited to join them. The environment at Mumbai City is highly spoken of, especially for young players like myself.
