Sourav Das won a tussle in midfield before launching a strike that went way over the target.

Maclaren's grounder from a tough angle on the left side of the penalty area was properly collected by Albino.

Jordan Murray sailed in a cross from the right inside the box, but Vishal Kaith jumped to make a confident high claim, denying Siverio from anticipating it.

Liston Colaco fired a cross from the right flank, but this time, the ball whacked the wrong side of the net.

Cummings tried to deliver a low cross inside the box, but Barla obstructed the ball, resulting in a deflection. Albino made a routine collection afterward.

Jason Cummings had many chances, but still, he is yet to find the back of the net.

The Australian forward found the ball inside the right side of the penalty area and fired a grounder targeting the far post. Albino had a slight touch on the ball as the ball rolled inches wide off the target!

This was also the 100th save from the Jamshedpur custodian in ISL 2024-25!

Asish Rai headed the ball to Cummings, who quickly unleashed a strike from inside the penalty area, but Albino Gomes claimed it well, denying another chance for the Mariners.

The Red Miners' defence stays resilient in denying Mohun Bagan's efforts so far. Despite taking 11 shots inside the first two quarters, Mohun Bagan have failed to convert those.

Tom Aldred gets the first booking for the Mariners for a tough challenge on Javi.

Subhasish Bose took a strike from the left outside the box, which was well-blocked by Cirkovic.

Nikhil Barla is shown a yellow for a foul on Ashique.

This was a brilliant set-up from the hosts as Liston and Anirudh exchanged a one-two inside the box, though the latter passed it to Apuia. The midfielder took a strike from outside the box that skied over the target.

Murray looked dangerous on a counter-attack, but he was obstructed by Alberto inside the box, who made a clean tackle to dispossess him off the ball.

The cross from the corner was met by Maclaren on the left, whose shot was denied by Albino! The second ball off the save was anticipated by Alberto and whacked on the target, but Sourav Das made a brilliant goal-line block!

Asish Rai attempted to send a cross inside the box from the right, which dipped in and drifted onto the target. However, Albino Gomes punched it over the bar!

Alberto passed it to Cummings right in front of the box, but Cumming's grounded strike rolled just wide off the far post.

Jamshedpur FC head coach Khalid Jamil recognised MBSG’s strength at home.

“We have kept our preparations for this match the same as before. There is no doubt about Mohun Bagan Super Giant, who always play very well, especially at home,” he said.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant head coach Jose Molina brought the focus to the core objective from the coming match, i.e. to progress into the finals.

“The only thing that is there in my mind right now is the matchday. We have to perform well and win – that’s the goal currently,” he said.

“It’s important to be brave and to look to score, but the most important part is to win the game,” he said.

What a thriller unfolded in the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur!

Jamshedpur FC struck a late winner in the first leg of the second semi-final to beat Mohun Bagan SG 2-1!

The Red Miner had drawn the first blood in the 24th minute with Javier Siverio's header. However, Jason Cummings netted a world-class free-kick in the 37th minute of the game to equalize it for the Mariners. The game was all square at the break, and despite salvaging many opportunities, both teams failed to score in the regulation time. However, Javi Hernandez fired a powerful strike right into Bagan's net in the first minute of the stoppage time to snatch away the lead in the semi-final tie.

Jamshedpur will be boosted by this victory and will travel to Kolkata to face Mohun Bagan SG in the return leg on April 7th, 2025.

Greg Stewart sailed the ball into the penalty area from a set-piece free-kick, which was headed by Alberto on target. However, the ball hit the woodwork and bounced off right in front of the goal-line. Albino turned behind and quickly collected the ball, killing off the danger.

The Jamshedpur defence line has completely shut down Bagan's attacking frontier. Brilliant defensive workload from Ashutosh Mehta, Pronay Halder, and Nikhilm Barla.

The ball drifted away from Eze's header following the cross delivered from the left. Javier Siverio found himself unmarked in an open space on the right side of the goal and swiftly headed the ball into Bagan's net through the bottom right corner!

Uvais produced a long throw that was headed in by Eze, but Vishal stays alert in making a good collection.

Asish Rai seems to have sustained a mild concussion while blocking Sanan's cross as the ball hit his head. He is receiving medical attention.

Javi Hernandez sailed a sublime cross into the box from the set-piece free-kick, which was brilliantly claimed by Vishal Kaith, who came off his line.

Sahal Abdul Samad produced a through pass in a short space on the edge of the box, but Pronay Halder seems to have started from where he left off in the knockout.

Anirudh Thapa and Asish Rai played one-two on the right to generate some space, but Stephen Eze shielded Rai well to let Albino easily collect the ball.

Such a brilliant attack was executed by Jamshedpur FC, as Barla put up a grounded cross from the right that was guarded by Aldred at first. The rebound ball struck by Sanan seemingly hit Asish Rai's hands. The Red Miners appealed loudly, but the referee did not give attention.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant head coach Jose Molina affirmed his side’s commitment to winning the ISL Cup.

“We are ready and we want to win the ISL Cup. We are absolutely happy with the season, but we want to win the Cup too,” he said.

Jamshedpur FC head coach Khalid Jamil outlined an optimistic perspective before the fixture.

“There are two legs to play and we are facing a very good team. We are positive, since we are playing at home, and we must think for a positive result,” he said.
