Mumbai City FC will come into the match without their five key international players - Lallinzuala Chhangte, Rahul Bheke, Apuia, Vikram Pratap Singh, and Mehtab Singh. They are unavailable due to national duty at AFC Asian Cup 2024 in Qatar.

"Greg Stewart expressed his desire to leave the Islanders midway through the season and return home to Scotland due to critical personal reasons, compelling Mumbai City to agree to the aforementioned mutual termination of his contract," the Club statement said.

Coach Petr Kratky would like to get familiar with the squad depth with Vinit Rai, Jayesh Rane, Sanjeev Stalin, Valpuia, and Gurkirat Singh on the bench for selection. Abdenasser El Khayati may see more game time with Lallinzuala and Vikram not around.

Gokulam Kerala

Gokulam Kerala has the best attack in the second-division league with 23 goals in 11 games. Coach Oramas has managed to utilize their lethal Spanish forward Alex Sanchez well. The forward has scored 12 goals in 10 games.

Former FC Goa midfielder Edu Bedia has been brilliant so far with four assists to his name. Sreekuttan VS has also contributed with a goal and three assists. On the other side, Salam Ranjan Singh is a key presence in the defense with skipper Aminou Bouba.
