The European Giant Real Madrid has finally signed the French sensation Kylian Mbappe until 2029.

Kylian Mbappe has finally signed a contract with the 14-time European Champion Real Madrid until 2029 and will become the club's highest earner when he moves to Spain this summer, according to some resources.

The French international informed Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month that he will not sign the one-year extension and will leave the Parc des Princes for Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Real Madrid were the favourites for his signature as it was Mbappe's dream to play at Santiago Bernabéu. However, according to Marca, he had already agreed terms with Real when he told PSG he would be leaving and has now signed a pre-contract agreement until 2029.

The Spanish giants first made contact with the 25-year-old at the start of January and managed to settle financial obstacles to agree a deal. Mbappe will be the highest earner in the Real dressing room. He is earning £62 million-a-year gross salary at PSG right now which will be not the amount at Real but it will still be more than their current players.

Managing director Jose Angel Sanchez negotitated with Mbappe's mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, and his lawyer, Delphine Verheyden. Real Madrid will also have to pay Mbappe a signing bonus of €50M, less than his annual salary at PSG which is far less than the £120m that had been demanded two years ago when Real first came close to signing him on a free transfer. In exchange, Real Madrid have compromised on image rights, with Mbappe set to earn around 60 percent of them.

Mbappe will kick start the new Galacticos era alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Camavinga, and Tchouaméni. The deal hasn't been officially announced but he will leave for Spain at the start of the 2024 summer transfer window.

An unveiling date is being targeted for between the end of the Euros (the final is played on July 14) and the start of the Olympics (with the football beginning on July 24). That gives Real Madrid a 10-day window to present Mbappe at their new Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
