Man City vs Bayern Munich meet for a seventh time in European competition, in this UEFA Champions League fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night. The spoils have been shared across the previous six encounters, with three wins apiece – all in the UCL.

Match Details:

  • Location: Manchester, England
  • Stadium: Etihad Stadium
  • Date: Tuesday 11 April
  • Kick-off Time: 20:00 BST / 15:00 ET / 12:00 PST
  • Referee: Jesús Gil Manzano (ESP)
  • VAR: Juan Martínez Munuera (ESP)

Man City vs Bayern: Match Preview:

Pep Guardiola will face his former side, where he spent three seasons as a head coach between June 2013 and June 2016, before taking up the position at Man City that summer. Although he won the Bundesliga in all three seasons with Bayern, he was never able to win the UEFA Champions League there – his only two UCL trophies as a manager coming at Barcelona in 2008-09 and 2010-11.

Following the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann last month, Thomas Tuchel will take charge of Bayern in this game and come up against Guardiola for the 11th time as manager. It was Tuchel that outfoxed Guardiola in the 2021 UCL final, with his Chelsea side defeating Man City 1-0.

Tuchel also knocked Guardiola's Man City out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stage a month earlier – winning 1-0 at Wembley Stadium. These two met again in the Premier League in 2021-22, with Guardiola getting some sort of revenge with two 1-0 wins across the home and away fixtures that season.

— FC Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN) April 11, 2023

Guardiola has won 54% of his games in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League (39/72). Among those with 30+ games in the KO stages (including finals), he has the best win percentage of any manager and is the only one to have won more than half of his games.

Team News:

Man City:

Phil Foden remains sidelined while he recovers from surgery to remove his appendix but City are otherwise at full strength, with Pep Guardiola even resting a number of his biggest names towards the end of Saturday's win over Southampton.

— Manchester City (@ManCity) April 10, 2023

Erling Haaland shook off a groin injury to net twice against the Saints and will fancy his chances of scoring against Bayern, having bagged five in seven games against the German giants.

Bayern:

Joao Cancelo is eligible to face his parent club as UEFA rules forbid clubs from inserting any such clauses into loan deals, but he may start on the bench as Dayot Upamecano's return from domestic suspension should see Benjamin Pavard move out to right-back.

— FC Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN) April 10, 2023

Sadio Mane, Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala all played significant minutes in the recent win over Freiburg after shaking off injuries and the trio will all expect to feature against City.

As for absentees, Manuel Neuer and Lucas Hernandez are out at the back, with forward duo Mathys Tel and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting both unavailable.

Man City vs Bayern: Head to Head:

  • Manchester City and Bayern Munich are on an even footing as far their head-to-head record is concerned. They have won three games apiece out of the six matches that they have played in the UEFA Champions League.
  • Manchester City have won two of their three home games against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, with their only such defeat coming against Pep Guardiola's side in 2013.
  • After a run of four defeats away from home against English opponents in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich have lost only two of their last 10 such matches in the competition.

Usually, you are asked to upload a photo of your passport or other identification document, and sometimes a selfie with a document. All data is processed confidentially and is not transferred to third parties. The process takes from a couple of minutes to 1-2 business days. It is better to pass verification in advance to avoid delays in withdrawing funds.

If your account is temporarily frozen (for example, due to suspicious activity), contact technical support - they will help you figure it out. Check the data carefully and always maintain access to the email/number linked to the account.

1Win Application and Mobile Version

How to download the application on Android/iOS

For the convenience of users, mobile applications for Android and iOS have been developed, which allow you to place bets, play casino, top up your account and withdraw funds anywhere and at any time.

The interface of the applications is intuitive, and in terms of functionality, they are in no way inferior to the web version. You can download the application from the official website - the installation file for Android is downloaded directly, and for iOS - through the App Store.
The applications load quickly, work stably even with a weak Internet connection and are regularly updated.

Differences from the browser version

If you do not want to install the application, you can use the mobile version of the site. It is adapted for all resolutions, the interface is optimized for finger control, and loads quickly.

The same functions are available in the mobile version - bets, casino, replenishment, withdrawal, bonus showcase and much more. The only difference is the lack of push notifications, which are available in the application.

Cashback and loyalty program

The platform offers a cashback system, in which part of the lost funds is returned to the player's account. The percentage depends on activity: the more bets, the higher the return. The casino section also has a loyalty program - points are awarded for the game, which can be exchanged for money, bonuses or gifts.

Regular players receive increased limits, personal offers and access to closed promotions. All this makes playing on 1Win more profitable and exciting, especially if you visit the platform regularly.

How to withdraw winnings

Withdrawing funds from 1Win is as easy as depositing funds. Go to the "Withdraw funds" section, select a payment system, specify the amount and confirm the transaction. Withdrawals are made only to the details from which deposits were previously made - this is a security rule. The processing time depends on the method:

● e-wallets - up to several hours
● bank cards - from 1 to 5 business days.

It is recommended to pass verification before the first withdrawal to avoid delays.

What to do in case of delays

If you have not received funds within the specified period, the first thing you need to do is check the transaction status in your account. Sometimes the payment may get stuck in processing due to technical failures in the payment system.

In this case, contact the online chat of the support service - specialists will respond within a few minutes and help solve the problem. Also make sure that you have provided the correct details and have passed verification. 1Win always tries to resolve such issues promptly and in favor of the client.

Francisco Conceição celebrates his equaliser against Germany in the Nations League semi-final in Munich

Portugal will be confident of beating any team in the world after ousting Germany in the semi-final. This was their first win over the Germans since the EURO 2000. Not only that, but Cristiano Ronaldo also won against Germany for the first time in his senior career, after netting the winning goal.

Roberto Martínez has introduced a few new tactical things to turn things around for Portugal, after crashing out against France on penalties in the last eight. Rafael Leão, Pedro Neto or Francisco Conceição on the wings supplying central striker Cristiano Ronaldo, has been a great plan for him along with having a strong 4-man defence in the back.

Along with them, inform Vitinha, fresh from a Champions League triumph, and Bruno Fernandes, give Portugal solidity in the midfield.

Till now, there is no news of injuries, and Martinez will have a full squad to choose from for the final against Spain.

Lamine Yamal and Pedri hugging each other after a goal during Span's 5-4 win over France in the Nations League semi-final match

Spain have been one of the best sides in world football, comprising one of the brightest young talents in every position. Although they are suffering from a few long-term injuries to some senior players, Luis de la Fuente's team looks no worried since winning the EURO 2024.

In a record-breaking semi-final, where the most number of goals in a Nations League match was scored, Spain defeated France by 5-4 to qualify for the final. Though the scoreline looks tight, Spain once led by 4-1, and a few experiments along with complacency led them to win by a smaller margin.

Lamine Yamal, the Ballon d'Or 2025 contender, scored a brace for them while Pedri netted a magical goal. Mikel Oyarzabal, just like every time, performed silently while providing two assists. Nico Williams also looked like a beast on the right.

Scoring goals will never be an issue for a team like this. But, defending well against a well-shaped Portugal team would be a tough task for them.

No news of new injuries for them as well.

Possible Lineups

Portugal

Diogo Costa; João Neves, Rúben Dias, Gonçalo Inácio, Nuno Mendes; Bernardo Silva, Vitinha, Bruno Fernandes; Francisco Conceição, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pedro Neto.

Spain

Unai Simón; Pedro Porro, Robin Le Normand, Dean Huijsen, Marc Cucurella; Pedri, Martín Zubimendi, Fabián Ruiz; Lamine Yamal, Mikel Oyarzabal, Nico Williams

Our prediction

We predict a 3-2 win for Spain.
