Manchester United have been the most successful club in England by far. They have 20 premier league titles to their name which is the most in England. The English giants have dominated the better part of the last decade but recently failed to coup with the latest success of Manchester City, Liverpool or Chelsea. They won their first-ever league title in 1907-08 season, however, the 2012-13 season was the last time Manchester United won the Premier League.

At the top of the French football league system, it is the country’s primary football competition. Administrated by the Ligue de Football Professionnel, Ligue 1 is contested by 20 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Ligue 2. Although PSG might be the most popular team at the moment they certainly don’t feature here as AS Saint-Étienne is the most successful team with 10 titles.
