The Islanders have confirmed that their reserve team will play in the Durand Cup 2024. Mumbai City FC will face Kerala Blasters on August 1 at Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.

The defending ISL Cup champions, Mumbai City FC have announced that their reserve team will take part in the upcoming 133rd Durand Cup 2024. The team will play under coach Mohan Dass.

Mumbai City FC will be facing Kerala Blasters FC, CISF Protectors FT, and Punjab FC in Group C. Their first match is against Kerala Blasters FC on August 1 at Kishore Bharati Krirangan followed by a match against CISF Protectors FT at the same venue on 5th August. Their last match of the group stage is at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan against Punjab FC on 11 August.

Mumbai City FC Club CEO, Kandarp Chandra said, "We are thrilled to provide our young players with the opportunity to compete in the Durand Cup. This prestigious tournament offers a significant platform for them to showcase their talent and gain invaluable high-intensity match experience.
