Porto:

Sergio Conceicao's last UCL trip to Anfield again ended on a disappointing note as Liverpool took down Porto by 2-0. They again succumbed to Liverpool in both their matches and are now in a dreadful situation as they hang by a thread. Porto will be hopeful of the Liverpool vs AC Milan match as that result will heavily impact their qualification chances.

Porto head into Tuesday's crucial battle on the back of an eighth Primeira Liga victory on the bounce, easing past Portimonense 3-0 thanks to Luis Diaz, Vitinha, and Otavio's strikes.

Atletico Madrid:

Diego Simeone's side lost on their own turf against AC Milan as Junior Messias's pinpoint header in the 87th saw the Rossoneri take the match away and push Atletico Madrid at the dead bottom of the table. However, Atletico Madrid can still qualify if they manage to beat Porto and wait for the Liverpool vs AC Milan results.

Simeone's men have suffered quite the fall from grace since finishing atop the pile in La Liga last term. A 2-1 league defeat at home to Mallorca at the weekend means it is just three wins from their last 10 in all competitions for Atletico, who have not kept a clean sheet away from home all season and have chosen the worst time to lose some of their defensive names to injury and suspension.

Final Score

Apr 2, 2025, 9:51 PM

Final verdict!

So it will be another El Classico in the Copa Del Rey final in Sevilla. Barcelona were the better team and attacked more in the first half, resulting in a goal from Ferran Torres. They could have scored more if they had latched onto the chances created mainly by Lamine Yamal.

But atletico Madrid brought in three changes at the start of the second half, which made them attack more frequently and freely.

However, despite a few chances, they were not able to score. Jules Kounde was excellent for Barcelona, making multiple blocks in the final 15 mins of the game.

This means that Barcelona will meet Real Madrid in the Copa del Dey final and will be another step closer to their target of a treble.
