After Wednesday's fixtures on matchday six of the Champions League 2023/24 group stage, all 16 teams have booked their places in the Round of 16, including front runners like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich.
Six clubs had already qualified for the knockout stage by the end of matchday four, with Madrid, City, and Bayern Munich's perfect records allowing them to make light work of the group stage.
UEFA Champions League 2023/24: Teams qualified for the round of 16
Group A: 1. Bayern Munich - Points - 16; 2. FC Copenhagen - Points - 8
Bayern became the first team to qualify for the Round of 16 from Group A, and then FC Copenhagen beat Galatasaray by 1-0 at home on the last matchday to seal the 2nd spot. Bayern dominated the group stage with 5 victories, 1 draw and 12 goals. They beat Manchester United in the 6th and final matchday at Old Trafford.

Group B: 1. Arsenal - Points - 13; 2. PSV - Points - 9
Arsenal defeated Lens at the Emirates on matchday 5 to go through as group leaders. The other fixture was theatrical with PSV Eindhoven coming from 2-0 down to defeat Sevilla 3-2 thanks to an injury-time header from USMNT striker Ricardo Pepi. PSV and Lens could end the section on eight points, but PSV qualified thanks to their superior record in the two head-to-head games.
Sealing the top spot, Arsenal faced PSV on the last matchday and played an annoying draw to end the group stage. Arsenal finished with 13 points at the top and PSV sealed the 2nd spot with 9 points.
Meanwhile, Lens beat Sevilla to clinch the Europa League spot and Sevilla are knocked out of the competition.

Group C: 1. Real Madrid - Points - 18; 2. Napoli - Points - 10
Real Madrid have the perfect record ahead of the Round of 16 fixtures. Real dominated the group stage with 6 victories, and 16 goals. They are having a wonderful campaign, and everyone knows what Real Madrid are capable of in the Knockout Stages. Los Blancos beat Union Berlin on matchday 6 in a thriller of a game by 3-2 to knock them out of the Champions League 2023/24.
Meanwhile, defending Italian champion Napoli registered an easy and comfortable 2-0 victory against Braga to seal the 2nd spot of the Group C table with 10 points.

Group D: 1. Real Sociedad - Points - 12; 2. Inter Milan - Points - 12
Sociedad and Inter Milan both teams relatively qualified for the UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Round Of 16 during matchday 5. When they faced for the second time in the group stage on matchday 6, a disappointing 0-0 draw came out. They finished the group undefeated, with Sociedad taking the top spot and Inter sealing the second spot. Both teams are doing fine this season in their respective leagues.

Group E: Atletico Madrid - Points - 11; Lazio - Points - 10
Lazio's 2-0 against Celtic on Matchday 5 confirmed their qualification for the Round Of 16. They were on the 2nd spot with 10 points but could top the league if they beat Atletico Madrid on Matchday 6. Atletico had 11 points in 5 matches but Lazio couldn't come out of the match as winner and finished the group stage in the 2nd spot with the same 10 points. Atletico are undefeated in the group and will go through with confidence.

BVB were the least expected team from Group F to be qualified for the next round for obvious reasons. But the beauty of football is, they became the first to qualify from the group. Borussia Dortmund's progression, meanwhile, has arguably been the most impressive of all so far. Drawn in the so-called "Group of Death" alongside AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United, the 1997 winners posted a third successive victory at San Siro to become the first team to qualify from Group F.
BVB had to play at least a draw against PSG to ensure the top spot and they did exactly. Dortmund have impressed the neutral fans mostly with their brand of football. PSG started the group stage, beating Dortmund by 2-0 while Newcastle forced Milan to play a 0-0 draw on matchday 1.
The beauty of football is that Newcastle finished the group on the last spot with 5 points and Milan qualified for the Europa League with 8 points. PSG sealed the 2nd spot with the same points but their head-to-head results were better than Milan.

Group G: Manchester City - Points - 18; RB Leipzig - Points - 12
They were zero doubts from Group G about the winners. Manchester City dominantly played the 6 matches and qualified on Matchday 4. They sealed the top spot completely with a comeback victory against Leipzig on Matchday 5 but except for losing 2 times against Man City, Leipzig has been brilliant too. They booked the 2nd spot with 12 points and after being already qualified on matchday 5.

Group H: 1. FC Barcelona - Points - 12; 2. Porto - Points - 12
After failing to get out of their group in the last two seasons, Barcelona are back among the big boys after Tuesday's 2-1 comeback win over Porto. Xavi Hernández's side grabbed the chance to qualify on matchday four after losing to Shakhtar Donetsk on Matchday 4. Barcelona are not playing their best football right now but qualifying for the Round of 16 was important and they did it with ease. But the Blaugranas had to witness a upset when Antwerp beat them by 3-2 in a thriller of a game on matchday 6.
Meanwhile, Porto beat Shakhtar by 5-3 ensuring their qualification in the Champions League 2023/24 RO16. Shakhtar will play in the Europa League now.

Rangers have marginally fewer trophies to their city rivals Celtic with 55 Scottish first-tier League Championships since 1890 and that's why they are the second most decorated clubs in Scottish Premiership. With their home one of the most famous stadiums in the British Isles in the form of Ibrox, it is no wonder they have managed such glory when they can create such an atmosphere.
Celtic Park, also known as Parkhead, and renowned for its thrilling atmosphere, has seen countless memories created in the club's 137-year history. Because of their dominance, they are the most decorated club in Scottish football. Celtic were the first club in Great Britain to win the European Cup.
Al-Ahly tops this list and becomes the most decorated club in world football with 123 trophies. With a legacy stretching back to 1907 and 123 trophies to their name, they are more than Egyptian legends; they are global titans. They have won 43 Egyptian Premier League titles, 39 Egypt Cups, 12 CAF Champions Leagues, 14 Egyptian Super Cups, eight CAF Super Cups and four African Cup Winners' Cups, just to name a few. They are essentially the African version of Real Madrid and continue to dominate Egyptian domestic football to this day.

Liverpool
Liverpool custodian Alisson Becker became the point of difference between Liverpool's victory and PSG, who made a remarkable nine saves at the Parc des Princes, except for a disallowed offside goal from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Liverpool were cornered during the whole game in every sector of the play, but they somehow came out of Paris with a victory, courtesy of a late strike from Harvey Elliot who found the net only after 47 seconds of coming onto the pitch.
Alisson made nine saves in the first leg.
The Reds have also kept their winning streak intact, posting a statement 3-1 triumph over Southampton last weekend. The current Premier League toppers will look to seal the passage to the quarters after crashing out of the RO16 last season.
Manager Arne Slot will have to select the team roster without Connor Bradley, Joe Gomez, and Tyler Morton, who are all recovering from long-term injuries. Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai might be the other absentees as they are doubtful.
Liverpool could face greater trouble even if they advance to the next round, as Elliott, Konaté, Mac Allister, Robertson, and Van Dijk will all be suspended for the upcoming UCL match if they receive a yellow card in this game.

Despite the shock of Les Parisiens' defeat in the first leg, especially considering the number of chances they created, it was merely another chapter in PSG's ongoing struggles in the Champions League.
PSG registered a total of zero goals from 27 shots, ending a frustrating night in defeat, as they will be desperate enough at Anfield to turn things around, in search of their much-eluded continental crown.
The Parisiens triumphed 4-1 against Rennes in the Ligue 1 last weekend, handing themselves a confidence boost ahead of the travel to Merseyside.
However, coach Luis Enrique will have the full squad at his disposal for selection. Only Marquinhos and Fabián Ruiz are at risk of getting suspended in the next game if they manage to progress further in this season's competition.

Barcelona have not played any matches recently, as their LaLiga game against Osasuna was postponed. This postponement came after Barcelona requested it due to the tragic passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro, hours before the Osasuna match.
The players and coaching staff observed a minute's silence before Sunday’s training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, whereas Benfica manager Bruno Lage also extended his condolences to Barcelona.
Despite the difficult atmosphere at the club, the Catalan side will do their best against Benfica to enter the quarter-finals for the second consecutive season.

However, coach Hansi Flick must find the defensive combination without Pau Cubarsi, who got suspended following the red card in the first leg. Andres Christensen suffered a fresh injury while Marc Andre Ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are recovering from the long-term injuries. On the contrary, Gavi is expected to be back in the squad.
Benfica must have been disappointed to suffer a narrow defeat in last week's home match. The Eagles failed to capitalize on Cubarsi's red card, losing at home to Barcelona for the second time this season, having previously experienced a shocking 4-5 defeatto them in a league phase match last January.
However, Benfica will travel to Spain following a 3-0 victory against Nacional in Liga Portugal this weekend, helping themselves to boost confidence before the decisive second leg encounter.
The Portuguese side will leave no stone unturned to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League since their consecutive quarter-final finishes in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
Manager Bruno Lage will have to field a competitive eleven against Barca without the services of Angel Di Maria, Alexander Bah, Manu Silva and Tiago Gouveia. Tomas Araujo is still doubtful for the game, while Alvaro Carreras will be suspended for accumulation of yellow cards.
