Olympic 2020 : Day 7 Schedule For India And Key Matches

Though the first six days of Tokyo Olympic 2020 was not that good for team India. They faces back to back defeats after Mirabai Chanu wins silver in 49-kg weightlifting, bags India's first medal at Olympics 2020. But the start of day 6 was better for team India. P.V Sindhu won straight two sets by 21-9 & 21-16 and progresses to the next round. Moreover, Pravin Jadhav beats Russian Bazarzhapov 6-0 to enter in the round of 16. However, Indian women's team again faces a defeat in their third game.

Deepika Kumari won back to back rounds and qualifies to round of 8. She won by 6-0 & 6-4 in both rounds. Moreover, Pooja Rani secures a easy win over Ichak Chaib. She won by 5-0 and become second Indian boxer to reach Quarter finals. Overall it was a good day for India at the Olympic 2020.
