The international wrestler has been in jail since June 2, 2021. Now Sushil Kumar seeks bail and claimed that he has been charged with a false allegation. Furthermore, he adds that it's a conspiracy to build a guilty image of him and destroy his reputation.

Sushil Kumar appeals for a bail

Additional Sessions Judge Shivaji Anand will hear the bail plea on Tuesday. But advocate Nitin Vasishth, appearing for the victim, said that Mr Kumar should not be released on bail as more accused are yet to be arrested and they, along with Mr Kumar, may influence the witnesses.

The international wrestler says that police has left no single chance to present a "false and guilty image" of him and damage his career and reputation. They also tried to misguide the media to wrongfully establish a connection between him and renowned gangsters.
