Tag Vandana Katariya

Vandana Katariya is a hockey player from India. She plays as a forward in the Indian Women’s Hockey team. She is the first and only Indian woman to score a hat-trick in any Olympic game. Katariya made that record against South Africa in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

For her contributions to India’s successful Olympic campaign in Tokyo Olympics, she was conferred with Padma Shri Award 2021. In addition, she was also named in the Forbes 30-under-30 list of 2021. Moreover, Vandana Katariya was also the top scorer in the 2013 Women’s Hockey Junior World Cup. India had won the Bronze medal in that competition.
