The World No. 4, Rafael Nadal and No. 3, Novak Djokovic could play against each other in the Grand Slam event on Grass court. Rafael wants to win Wimbledon for the first time in over a decade. On the other hand, Djokovic, who is willing to extend his domination at the Grass court major. This will be the another classic clash between two of the legendary players of all time.

The Spanish Tennis player has won the Australian and the French Open back-to-back. He wants to stay on track for the calendar year Grand Slam because, he has the chance to become the first man to win all four majors since Rod Laver achieved the feat in 1969. Nadal has won his 14th title at Ronald Garros. He is hoping to add another one to the two Wimbledon titles he won in 2008 and 2010. The 36-year-old, who injured her left-foot is now totally fit and focused at the same time.

On the other hand, the 6th time champion Novak Djokovic is willing to pursue his seventh title at The Championships, where he achieved a 79-10 record. The 35-year-old Serbian has won 21 consecutive matches at the tournaments.

Nadal has not played Wimbledon since his 2019 semi-final. He has lost to Roger Federer. In the Ronald Garros quarter-finals this month, Nadal beat Djokovic before going on to lift a record-extending 14th French Open title and 22nd major.

Due to injury, second ranked Alexander Zverev will not be the part of the game. World No.1 Daniil Medvedev also can not play the game as he was banned. Hence, Djokovic is the top and Nadal number two. They can only meet in the July 10 final if they progress through the draw.

Their main challengers will be Matteo Berrettini, Hubert Hurkacz, Andy Murray and Nick Kyrgios.
