Heinrich Klaasen was the top scorer for SRH last season. He started the 2024 season, scoring 63 off 29 balls nearly winning the match for his side. He will be in the spotlight when the teams face each other in Hyderabad. Wanindu Hasaranga is yet to join the squad and is expected to be unavailable for another week. Marco Jansen and Bhuvneshwar KumarΒ were expensive against KKR so they will be hoping to make a comeback against Mumbai.

Natarajan picked up three wickets in the match against KKR and will try to repeat that against the mighty MI. Skipper Pat Cummings was decent in the opening fixture and his spell will be very important in their first game at home. Suryakumar Yadav will be still unavailable for Mumbai Indians as he is recovering from ankle surgery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.Β Luke Wood didn't have a great time against Gujarat with the ball butΒ Dewald Brevis who eventually came in as an impact player, went on to play a mature inning.
