PSG manager Pochettino is hopeful that Messi will be able to recover from bone bruising for the visit of Man City. The other Argentine Angel Di Maria is facing suspension and is unavailable for the upcoming match. However, at the time of writing the six-time Ballon d'Or winner is still highly uncertain for the clash. Marco Verratti and Sergio Ramos are also expected to remain out for the time being, but Layvin Kurzawa, Juan Bernat and Colin Dagba have all returned to training and Gueye is back from a European suspension.

City defenders Aymeric Laporte and John Stones both made the squad at Stamford Bridge. The former played the full 90 minutes on the day. Meanwhile, Stones will hope to be in the first eleven this time around. Nathan Ake marked an emotional occasion with a goal against Leipzig so will not cede his place easily, and it remains to be seen if Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ilkay Gundogan will recover from knocks in time for the battle.
