Alaeddine's goalscoring streak
The 31-year-old Moroccan laced up his boots in NorthEast United FC's opening match against Mohammedan SC and he has not stopped since. Ajaraie scored the only and the winning goal in the dying minutes against Mohammedan to snatch all three points for NorthEast.
Alaeddine scored a goal and made an assist to the other goal NorthEast scored in their 2-3 defeat against Mohun Bagan in the second match. The talisman scored the only goal for NorthEast in a 1-1 draw against Kerala Blasters.
Alaeddine Ajaraie scored a goal and provided his second assist of the campaign against FC Goa in a 3-3 showdown in the fourth game. In their fifth game, NorthEast lost by 2-3 to Chennaiyin FC but Alaeddine kept his scoring streak intact by scoring a penalty in the game.
The Moroccan magician equaled Elano's record in the sixth match of NorthEast against Jamshedpur FC where Alaeddine scored a brace and also made an assist as NorthEast thumped Jamshedpur by 5-0.
Now, Alaeddine Ajaraie holds the record for scoring in the first 7 ISL games after he scored another brace and also made an assist in NorthEast's 3-2 victory against Odisha FC on 3 November 2024.

The NorthEast fans are excited to have the Moroccan on their team as he has already proved himself to be one of the best signings this season. Alaeddine Ajaraie may equal the record of Delhi Dynamos’ Kalu Uche who had set a record of scoring in eight straight matches in the 2017-18 season, which is the longest scoring streak by a player in ISL.
Having 9 goals scored already, Alaeddine Ajaraie may also become the highest goalscorer in a single season, surpassing Ferran Corominas and Bartholomew Ogbeche who both scored 18 goals in a single season.
