Novak Djokovic is famous for meticulously arranging his season's goals, whether they are Grand Slam wins or the No. 1 position in the globe. However, because of his apparent lack of vaccination, he is unable to decide and choose which tournaments he wishes to participate in. Therefore, he is willing to take any chance that comes his way and hit the Bull's-eye, that is the Dubai Open 2022.
The Serb's words
"I just have to follow the rules. Whatever tournament that I'm able to play, I'll be trying to get to that country and play the tournament," Djokovic spoke at a press conference in Dubai. It happened on the evening of the 30th Dubai Open 2022. It has started on Monday.

"Right now the situation is obviously different for me. I really can't choose right now. Wherever I have an opportunity, I'll be using probably that opportunity and going to play. It's what I love to do still." Novak added.
As excited as he is to return to the courts, top seed Novak Djokovic is equally pleased with the upbeat environment in the locker room in Dubai. According to him, "I haven't seen too many players, but most of the players that I've seen have been positive and welcoming. It's nice to see obviously. I can't say that was the case in Australia, it was a little bit strange."

Djokovic hasn't participated in a game in almost three months. He will put his fortitude to the testing in the first round against Lorenzo Musetti of Italy, who is about to turn 20. However, if the Serb loses this match, his ranking will be jeopardised, with Daniil Medvedev lurking in the shadows, ready to fill his shoes.
