The Indian football team is slowly yet steadily dominating over its competitors and performing brilliantly to win the matches. On 24 October, Thailandโ€™s Chonburi hosted the AFC U-19 Qualifiers of India vs Pakistan womenโ€™s football team. The Indian team completely thrashed and tore apart the Pakistan team.

The Indian team dominated Pakistan from the very beginning and played an attacking way. Within halftime, India already scored 9-0 and continued its massive supremacy till the very last. The match ended with an enormous victory by India and a final tally of 18-0.

The highlights of the match were Renu, Devneta, Daya Devi, and Manisha. Renu scored 5 goals whereas the other 3 footballers netted twice in the opening match of AFC U-19 Qualifiers.

The Indian womenโ€™s football teamโ€™s coach was delighted by the young girlsโ€™ performances. โ€œIt was a great result for us. This kind of a win gives a lot of boost to our girls, and hopefully, we can go ahead and do better in the next game as well.โ€

On the other hand, the Pakistan teamโ€™s coach, Mohammad Siddique Sheikh expressed his thoughts post-match. He said that these 90 minutes were a learning experience for the team. Also, FIFA suspended the team for almost 3 and a half years and this meddled their regular matches.
